‘Following my experience with treating and managing individuals living with sickle cell, am aware and know that quite a number of sickle cell warriors have musculoskeletal issues in minor and major ways. I was majorly inspired by a patient turned close friend who I managed following a hip replacement surgery secondary to Avascular Necrosis, a condition quite common in sickle cell warriors’- Kemi Olawoye, Founder of CareBay Physiotherapy
With this event, CareBay hopes to inspire, support and provide necessary medical assistance to sickle cell warriors thereby empowering them to be as physically mobile as they possibly can.
The Event is being supported by My Mobile Doc, Sickle Cell Aid Foundation (SCAF), Crimsonbow Initiative, The Warrior Story Ng, Nirvana Sickle Cell Initiative, Sickle Cell Advocacy and Management Initiative (SAMI), Toptee Physiotherapy and Haima Health.
